Northeast India Revival Spreads to More Schools & Colleges

It is so exciting to hear the continuing reports of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Northeast India. My friend and co-worker, Reuben Pradhan (http://torestoration.googlepages.com/)  continues to send us updates, as well as updating his own website. If you haven’t read the previous reports (click here) beginning September 1, you might want to start there before reading this continuing account below. Here is the latest brief report:

Shillong, India

Every day the revival fire is spreading and now even students from colleges and a university here are coming under the power of God. A pastor friend of mine called up yesterday asking me to pray for him as he was going to be interviewed today by another national cable news channel regarding the move of God here. And today’s Khasi daily, Mawphor, reported children from Laitlyngkot seeing visions of Jesus and of Heaven. Three children in particular saw similar visions in which the gates of Heaven were opened. Then the Lord ordered the keeper of the keys to shut the gates. As he was about to do that there were lots of prayers and intercession being offered, asking that more time would be given for people to repent. At this the key was returned and was kept in a box.

The gates of Heaven are still open but we don’t know for how long. But one thing we do know–God says, “In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you. Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation… today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion….” (II Cor 6:2; Heb 3:15).

May we all heed Reuben's warning that the opportunity to cry out to God will not always be available. Let's pray that the Lord continues to protect His work there in India, and also let this current outpouring spread to the West.
