In this presentation Jonathan Lindvall used the context of the September 11, 2001 terrorist strikes as a context for exploring how Godly families should handle tragedies. How should we respond to tragedy in our own or others' lives? Should we search for causes? How should we relate to perpetrators of cruelty? How much should children be shielded from knowledge of distant terrifying events? What opportunities are provided through tragedy, and how do we redeem them?
